In order to get back out on the water\, we need youth members and adults who are looking to learn how to sail with the aim of completing a Trained Participant (Sailing Light to Moderate Wind Conditions) qualification.\nThis weekend is aimed at Venturers\, Rovers and Adult Members\, with no previous sailing experience.\nThe cost of the weekend covers your meals from Friday supper to Sunday lunch and all required training materials. DESCRIPTION:Mount Crawford\nSaturday\, 2 September 2023 \nTraining/practice sessions: 10:00am to 12:00pm\nCompetition: 1:00pm to 3:00pm \nHere is your chance to learn about all the exciting world of rogaining and orienteering. For our second NavFest event this year we offer a tips and tricks session with in-the-field navigation practice in the morning. This will be followed by a two-hour orienteering/rogaining event in the afternoon. In teams of 2-7 you will have the opportunity to navigate through Mount Crawford Forest and challenge yourself to find all the controls on your planned route. \nThe event is suitable for all ages and skill levels\, and you may attend either or both the morning training and the competitive event. Venturers and experienced Scouts can form their own teams while younger teams will need to have an adult. \nRegistrations will soon be open on MyScout with payments via Humanitix (to be announced soon).
