SUMMARY:SCUBA Training - Open Water SCUBA Course
DESCRIPTION:SCUBA Training – Open Water SCUBA Course \nScouts SA has it’s own inhouse SCUBA Training Team who will be delivering an Open Water SCUBA Course in January. We not only deliver an International SCUBA Certification recognised all over the world\, we also deliver the OAS Stage 7 requirements as well as VET training if you are working towards a Certificate II or higher. Along with Scouts Australia NAAF Safe Participant SCUBA certification. \nWe train 4 students per Instructor so we can give better attention to delivering the required level of skills. All of the equipment required for the course is provided by the Scout Sub Aqua Group and included in the fee. \nYou will be required to: \n\nComplete a SDI Medical Document. If you answer yes to any of the questions\, you will need to attend a SCUBA diving doctor to have a medical to clear you for the course.\nSwim 200 meters and tread water for 10 mins.\n\nThe course will entail: \n\nOnline Training being completed before the course\, at your pace.\nDay 1 Review of online training and fitting of SCUBA equipment.\nDay 2 Training in a heated inside pool for the Skills Training\nDay 3 Open Water Skills Training and Assessment. Dives 1 and 2\nDay 4 Open Water Skills Training and Assessment. We can tailor the activity around OAS requirements.\n-Normal pools we operate at are Adelaide Aquatic Centre (preferred) and ARC Campbelltown.
