In order to get back out on the water\, we need youth members and adults who are looking to learn how to sail with the aim of completing a Trained Participant (Sailing Light to Moderate Wind Conditions) qualification.\nThis weekend is aimed at Venturers\, Rovers and Adult Members\, with no previous sailing experience.\nThe cost of the weekend covers your meals from Friday supper to Sunday lunch and all required training materials. Accommodation is in the bunkrooms at Seahaven.\nParticipants need to be able to swim up to 20m while wearing a PFD. \nProgram Outcomes\nYouth members can also use this weekend as evidence towards components of OAS Boating Stage 1-3 and OAS Sailing Stage 4. \nTraining Outcomes\nParticipants have the ability to complete all the requirements of Trained Participant (Sailing Light to Moderate Wind Conditions).\nParticipants can also use this weekend as evidence towards a SAIT assessment for the following VET units:\n•    Sail small boats in smooth water and light to moderate wind conditions – SISOSAI001\n•    Perform basic water rescues – SISCAQU002\nTo enrol through SAIT to be assessed against the VET units\, contact training@sa.scouts.com.au. \nClick Here to register.
